About the event
Vol Court includes four speaker sessions conducted by successful entrepreneurs and UT faculty and experts and a final business idea pitch competition. Sessions are held Wednesday evenings during the fall and spring semesters. UT students, faculty, staff, alumni, and local community members are welcome to attend. Participants who attend all speaker sessions in person will be eligible to pitch in week five. Prizes up to $1,500 are awarded to the competition winners. Winners of other competitions are not eligible to pitch the same business idea at Vol Court, but you are encouraged to attend and learn from our speakers. There is no application or cost to attend this series, and participants are not required to pitch in order to attend.
Session two on Tuesday, September 12, features Hannah Lee, CEO and Co-founder of Second Mile
Vol Court would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsor The Scott and Dianna Roe Foundation.
